TPA enables the Obama’s secret “trade” deals by limiting amendments and lowering the bar for passage in Congress. We’ve seen with the Iran deal what a good idea that is. What was Walker smoking when he decided to support TPA?
In addition to enabling Obamatrade, TPA also queues up other trade deals that are suspected of being trojan horses to massively increase legal immigration. But we don’t know because they are still secret deals.

How the Republicans handled TPA was my final straw. The GOPe is worse than Dems at this point. Cruz has been “playing the game” to some degree, while throwing red meat to his base on the side. Even if you are a true conservative, you’ve had to walk a tightrope if you hold office in this political climate. Trump has drawn a line in the sand that every Republican, whether candidate or not, has to address. We are all watching them now. I hope Cruz fully comes around. But I still remember his wife’s recent statement that every person up on the debate stage with him, he would consider for a cabinet position in a Cruz administration. I think it was a very telling slip of the tongue.

Ditto for the Iran deal. All Senators except cotton voted for the Corker bill that made the Iran deal possible:
