We are not just importing poverty; but, frankly. the inability to climb out of poverty--plus of course, more people in a static amount of space (not a good thing).

Agree. And the Richwine and Rector study on the costs of amnesty showed it would total $6.3 trillion if there are only 12 million illegals here.
I got a kick out of Trump the other day when a reporter asked him about the $166 billion it would cost to deport the illegals (phony number based on mass deportation). Trump said that since it costs us $130 billion a year now to pay for their presence here, an almost one year payback sounded like a good idea to him. LOL.
