If the multiple wives have a legal husband, they can’t get welfare money anymore, right?
Since only one marriage is recognized in a polygamous marriage involving multiple wives, the rest qualify for welfare for their multiple spawn that technically have no daddy.
So, while they want to be ‘recognized ‘ as legit, I don’t think they will be busting down the doors to city hall to get married.
