Hey Marco,

taxpayers have stories too. Stories about what they cannot do for their children and relatives because of the government absconding with their monies.

Rubio was born in Miami, Florida, the second son and third child of Mario Rubio y Reina and Oriales (née Garcia) Rubio. His parents were Cubans who immigrated to the United States in 1956, prior to the rise of Fidel Castro in January 1959. His mother made at least four trips back after Castro’s victory, including for a month in 1961. Ultimately, his parents applied for U.S. citizenship and were naturalized in 1975.

Kind of a gray area since his parents came here in 1956 and stayed. I assume they had legal visa status though..

I’m a human being. I have a story. Where is my government handout? Why can’t I deal crack in order to fulfill my dreams??? Why can’t I do illegal things to make my life “better”?

they’re humans with stories

I don't want to hear any stories about tacos or burritos; send 'em back.

Bad answer. And those are the kinds of answers that people are not going to put up with anymore. Trump changed the game. When the media started attacking him about using the term “anchor babies” and he pushed back basically saying tough luck. That’s the bar being raised. I see nobody even coming close.

To discourage birth tourism (Anchor babies), Australia, France, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, and the United Kingdom have modified their citizenship laws at different times, granting citizenship by birth only if at least one parent is a citizen of the country or a legal permanent resident who has lived in the country for several years. (Germany has never granted unconditional birthright citizenship, but has traditionally used jus sanguinis, so Germany has softened rather than tightened its citzenship laws; however, unlike their children born and grown up in Germany, non-EU- and non-Swiss-citizen parents born and grown up abroad usually cannot have dual citizenship themselves. See also German nationality law.)

Today, no European country grants unconditional birthright citizenship anymore; however, most American countries, e.g. the United States, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil still do so.

“Those are human beings and ultimately they are people, we’re not just statistics, they’re humans with stories,”

SO?

The same holds true for these people:

And if Trump is elected, we know how the story ends.

You know, when your parents enter a country illegally, unfortunately, the whole family may have to pay the consequences. That’s life.

If they’re here legally, it won’t be an issue.

Enough of them coming over here to drop their babies so they can pick up on the taxpayer’s dime.

Part of their story should include how they were deported for illegal entry into the US.

Of course they are human beings with a story.

Everyone has a story. Not everyone is an American citizen.

Insisting that people enter the US legally doesn’t take anything away from their story or their humanity.

There are lots of good countries out there. If I want to live in one of them, I will have to obey their laws. Thats only obvious.

The Bible says he who does not take care of his own family is worse than an unbeliever, and to take care of the poor inside your own gates first.

The 90 million unemployed should have first dibs on those jobs, not the 15 million illegal immigrants. The unemployed and poor Americans should have first rights to our welfare, food bank aid and so forth - not the new arrivals.

There are human beings with stories all over the world. So what?

The children of ISIS terrorists are human beings and have stories, too, Marco. Do you propose letting these children and the parents in?

I have never heard anyone including Trump say anchor babies aren’t humans just that they are not citizens legally in the US. Rubio is so stupid to say something that way.

Soooo, everyone with “a story” should be a citizen. Let’s welcome 6 billion people with stories.

Apparently Mexico is putting the kibosh on any Americans sneaking INTO Mexico.

Other than escaping from the law here, why would anyone be sneaking INTO Mexico?

Hey El Rushbo, still trying to push your good buddy Marco Rubio as presidential material?

I’m sure Rush will be silent on this...or least I think he will.
