A
Jewish friend of mine goes out of his way to say 'Merry Christmas' during the season. He's about as conservative as I am politically, but I always assumed it was just to be polite.
One day I asked him. He told me it was for the reactions which he got. The few people who reacted negatively are they very type of people he hoped to offend.

Last time I tried to be PC was when I thought the president of my company was Jewish and I told him happy Hanukkah. He was a Catholic and not happy about it.

To a person, I find Jews >>always<< wish me “Merry Christmas”, as opposed to many “Christians” with their “Happy Holidays” babble.

See my #48. I’m not the guy you were talking about...but maybe he’s my doppelganger. :>)

And the very type of people I generally avoid in any circumstance.

I have a Jewish friend, my best friend who does the same, to make a point and get a reaction. He loves the way Christians support Jews / Israel and watch out should someone disparage or mistreat a Christian around him.
