For those who missed it, here's the full event. I was actually there - it was wild. Only thing that would have been better is if he could have said 'War Eagle'. But he's too smart for that. Sure fire way to alienate millions of Bama faithful. Heading home now to Pensacola. Enjoy

Trump reminds me of the story about Odysseus/Ulysses and the Sirens from Homer's The Odyssey. Odysseus had his sailors put wax in their ears so they could not hear the fatal, but beautiful, song of the Sirens which would lead them to their deaths in a shipwreck on the rocks. But Odysseus did not put wax in his own ears and instructed his mean to tie him to the mast so that he could hear the Sirens' song. When Odysseus heard the Siren's song he was bewitched and pleaded with his men to untie him. They could not hear him so they did not, and they successfully sailed by the island of the Sirens. Trump preaches a great message about immigration, international trade, and national defense, but much of the problem in the U.S. today is of a spiritual nature.

There is a picture ofthe Trumps, the Palins and Greta and husband with Billy Graham at his last sermon and birthday celebration. They are all friends.

Yes, and I didn’t buy his “The bible is my number one book” either. Please.

It was a great speech and couldn’t help cheering when he went negative on our trade with China. I just don’t know for sure if he is trustworthy.

He’s a New Yorker. That makes me nervous. New Yorkers consider themselves very smart, especially the ones that run boiler rooms cheating the fly over people out of their money. And yes, the implication that the bible is his no 1 book is laughable.

My question is this. If Trump becomes president, where does he find the time to be president with this huge business he runs. Another question is if he becomes prez can he still invest in huge projects? He may not be thinking out his limitations as prez and being involved in the business world without being charged with influence peddling.

I will take a stab at answering that. There are two parts to my answer. The first is an entirely subjective one. The second is more objective.
Much has been made of his ego and his business empire and how they relate. Could he give it up? I would suggest, quite seriously, that he could literally walk away from the Trump empire and walk straight into history as one of the most memorable and historic presidents of the United States, with a colossal and unmatched legacy. Who defeated a nuclear Islam and with great vision presciently turned the United States into the Fortress America which survived the Third World War. That would likely be the most deeply satisfying capstone to a lifetime of grandiose achievement (and I note, grandiose achievement rather than merely grandiose ideation). His kicking over of the applecart of political correctness (and, as another Freeper described it, "backing up and kicking it over again") is in my opinoin a very deliberately thought out and critically necessary component of restoring the national spirit back to the spit-on-hands-and-kick-ass mentality that brought us through two World Wars and has been sorely lacking since Vietnam.
For the second part of my answer, it's quite simple: you hire competent, trusted management and step back. Then you return and take over when you've had your eight years.
The first part of my answer is not as facetious as it may sound on the face of it. The world is spiraling into detonation and there's little evidence that there's any major preparation on the part of the United States to boldly survive it intact and in the preemininent role. I do expect Donald Trump has both the vision to see it and the cojones to win it.
