Sorry ‘bout that, but the Marines weren’t on the beaches of Normandy. They were too busy bustin’ butt in the Pacific. Besides, Eisenhower didn’t want the Marines taking all the glory in Europe. He was probably still jealous about the Marines taking Belleau Wood.(WWI)
