Paul could have helped rid us of McConnell, but instead he got in bed with him and endorsed his reelection.

And here's his reward, not that it's going to do him any good, for he will not be the republican nominee, and McConnell will likely betray him now that he's safely reelected, just as Specter betrayed Santorum. These fools never learn!

Ron Paul is a legitimate, but sincere, “nut case” ...

Rand Paul is simply a hanger-on looking for money and power ...

On the other hand, I think Paul is best served by staying in the Senate. He has a high conservative rating, but is not ready for prime time yet - nor will he ever be.

Pander sold his soul to McConnell.

Rand the panderer yet again shows why he is not ready nor will he ever be for the white house.

I like Rand, just not as much as others. On some issues I think I like Rand best.

“Paul could have helped rid us of McConnell...”
___

Yep. And the fact that he didn’t means I’ll be for whoever runs against him in the senate primary. Hopefully, someone will.

Paul is going nowhere and in doing so he is damaging his chance of being reelected to the Senate. He is not looking very good in the debates. In fact he is embarrassing himself with his pathetic run for the presidency. Why do first term Senators (Rubeo, Paul and the very junor Cruz) think a few years in the Senate qualifies them to be President? Really guys that a lot of hubris.

Paul had a lot of potential, but he should have never made that deal with McConnell. He could have won his senate election almost as easily without McConnell’s list of banker and corporate donors, many of whom stabbed Paul in the back anyway. Blind ambition got in the way of what is best for the US, and it is a cost that we are paying for in blood and treasure.

Similarly, Ann Coulter got involved in politics here in KY and worked for McConnell to the hilt, as she worked incessantly to smear our now candidate for governor in his unsuccessful senatorial bid. She has got to be the most polemically seduced and abused/rejected female in the conservative movement, what with Chris Cristie, Jeb Bush, AND Mitch McConnell.

I will vote for Paul if he gets the nomination, but I won’t work for him at the caucuses or send any money. I’d much rather see a real conservative get the nomination.
