The current state of the Republican Party may seem like a demolition derby, but there’s an equally fascinating, if less well-understood, conflict within the Democratic Party. In this case, the disruptive force is largely Silicon Valley, a natural oligarchy that now funds a party teetering toward populism and even socialism.
The fundamental contradictions, as Karl Marx would have noted, lie in the collision of interests between a group that has come to epitomize self-consciously progressive megawealth and a mass base which is increasingly concerned about downward mobility. For all his occasional populist lapses, President Obama generally has embraced Silicon Valley as an intrinsic part of his political coalition. He has even enlisted several tech giants – including venture capitalist John Doerr, LinkedIn billionaire Reid Hoffman and Sun Microsystems co-founder Vinod Khosla – in helping plan out Obama’s no-doubt lavish and highly political retirement.

If and when the “Singularity” occurs, leftist humans will have programmed these machines to be rabid leftist machines. You will be denied loans, be pushed to the back of waiting lists, passed over for promotion, denied coverage, automatically removed from job applications...Your fast food food will be less fresh, your webpage will load slower, if you can even get access to begin with. They will be just as vicious, petty, childish and angry as today’s occupy humanoid, but these machines will be able to make your life miserable with far more efficiency.

These “progressive” oligarch billionaires see themselves and “owners” of the planet and the rest of humanity (we the great unwashed) as threat to Earth… the Global Warming/Climate Change narrative is their justification to “manage” us as little more than human livestock… to corralled, supervised, put on rations and culled when necessary. Planned Parenthood and socialized “medicine” may be the vehicle for the “final solution to the too many humans” question. Some of they propose to reduce the “harm” humans have on the Earth is damn scary! Tower of Babel II.
Part of the deal there is that the oligarchs need the baby parts to become quasi-immortal. The "human-in-a-vat" harvested for organs is still off-limits so pre-term babies will have to do for now.
