Hate to tell you, but modern society - especially among the younger people - interprets old style ‘genteel’ Republican manners as weakness. Unfortunately, that’s what it’s turned out to be - so when encountering someone that finally fights liberal fire with fire instead of politely running away like so many in the GOPe? Yeah, no wonder they get support.
So.... your position is Trump’s behavior is acceptable for a presidential candidate. You and I both know that, for example, had Joe Biden similarly attacked someone like Michelle Malkin, you’d be all over it.
But.. then again.. Trump’s engaging in a petty practice like repeated personal attacks via Twitter is deemed brilliant, for no other reason than it’s the beloved Trump.
