The Mexican customs house where you enter from the U.S. has two lanes. One lane has a sign that says (in Spanish) “Mexicans this way” if you look like a Mexican you are not stopped and not inspected. If you don’t look like a Mexican you had better get in the other line or else. The entire process is based on racial profiling. This is new and has not gotten much news.
