Ted Cruz was asked tonight the same question BillO asked Trump last night, if he would deport two illegal parents who have children that are American Citizens. But Cruz refused to answer it the way Megyn Kelly wanted him to. She accused him of dodging the question, but Cruz responded that the question that she and other mainstream media journalists want to ask is a distraction from actually fixing the problem of illegal immigration and then explained how to fix it.

Trump answered the question, and then stood up to OReally’s trying to bully him out of it.
Cruz ducked and dodged and never answered it at all. We need Trump to do the initial heavy lifting.
I don’t care how good or how smooth they seem to be, when crunch time comes, a politician will find a way to evade or finesse a question and not give an unequivocal answer.
Much as I like Cruz, I’m not REALLY surprised. When you pack it all down, he’s a politician. A fine, upstanding Christian one; but a politician still.
More and more I’m realizing what a BLESSING the Lord gave us when He raised up Donnie Trump.
Cruz comes off as wimpy.
It’s too bad, because I think he is the best candidate.
If you want support Cruz, you have got to STAND UP and act like a man!!!!

Like when he stood alone on the Senate floor to try to defund Obamacare, or stood alone and called out the Mitch for prevarication, or hosting a conference call with 100,000 pastors today to defund Planned Parenthood.
Perhaps you have a different definition of “standing up” and acting like a man-?
They need to keep doing that. If asked a ridiculous question, just answer whatever they want the public to know and call out the questioner for playing political games.
I am absolutely astounded that, after hearing his weak, pathetic non-answer, any Conservative could support this phoney.
I was 100% for Cruz but now I have nothing but contempt for him.
This evil illegal invasion poses an existential threat to our Republic. If we somehow do not remove most of the illegals on our soil then our Republic will be destroyed.
I truly believe illegal immigration is the greatest threat our Republic has ever faced -- if it is not solved we will be transformed forever into a third world spanish speaking sewer.
The simple fact that Cruz cannot face the reality of destructiveness of illegal immigration shows he is delusional and not worthy of any Liberty loving Conservative.
I can never picture Cruz picking up a sword in defense of Liberty.
We need a fighter to defeat the evil left and the evil GOPe.
With Cruz's disgusting response he has shown himself to be a panderer, not a leader.
Maybe lying Megyn should do more lingerie shoots if she wants to be taken seriously as a journalist.
In took it as no matter how you interpret the 14th amendment there are multiple ways of denying birth right citizenship for illegals.
But I do think it should be done sooner rather then after border, takes away incentive to come
If someone hands me a loaded question, I do my best to disassemble it and hand it back to them in pieces without pulling the trigger. Then I tell them if they don't want that done with them don't hand them to me.
Can't say I disagree much with the way he handled this one.
One has to be utterly delusional to think that Cruz would lift a finger to secure our border or even deport one criminal illegal.
I pray Cruz starts to fall in the polls -- he is a pathetic panderer.
