Seriously though.....No one close to him had any clue this POS was a homicidal maniac? Why hasn't the media focused on him and those who knew him? What was his behavior like these past few weeks and months? Are his friends (if he had any) "shocked?" Anyone saying "he was such a good boy." Where are the reporters with cameras shoved in the faces of his family members.
Should not journalists be interested in the facts leading up to these murders rather than his so called victimhood? The media has apparently decided who this POS was is less important than whoring for gun control?

We had a patient from jail admitted for sickle cell crisis. Awaiting trial for armed robbery. He was a Jehovah’s Witness. He refused a transfusion. Why? His mama said it was a sin.
It took everything I had to keep from asking him what his mama said about sticking a gun in someone’e face while taking their money.
CNN reported that he dropped his car at the airport a MONTH ago and then rented the car he was apprehended in.
Yes, he died about 1:30 pm EST.

Retired Oakland Unified School District Teacher Betty D. Flanagan beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, neighbor, and friend departed her earthly life on October 10, 2008 in Oakland, CA. She served as a dedicated teacher with the Oakland Unified School District for over 37 years. She influenced the lives of countless students who attended: Frick Jr. High School, McChesney Jr. High School, Lowell Middle School and Castlemont High School. She devoted her talents and efforts to providing the students of Oakland with an education that would prepare them to become tomorrow’s leaders. She is survived by Vester Flanagan Sr.; stepmother Alice Sheriff; her two daughters Valerie and Vicki; one son, Vester; four sisters Carolyn, Brenda, Sharon, and Pearl; two brothers Fred and William; two grandchildren, Hadiyah and Miles; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be held Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 11am at CP Bannon 6800 International Blvd., Oakland, CA 94621.
