Saw it too. Talk about zero situational awareness. He points the gun right at her from a few feet away, I guess to make sure it shows up on the camera, before he starts shooting. How could no one see that?!? I guess they were all immersed in the interview. Wow!
To be fair, he probably wanted her to react when he did that. When she didn’t, he backed off and appears to wait for the camera man to pan back to her before he opens fire.
This is someone obsessed with himself and social media.
The lens is likely making him seem closer than he actually is to his victims.
