I’ve shot my fair share of 1911s, and the recoil from them makes accurate followup shots difficult. He was shooting with one hand. No way was he holding on let alone following up if it was a 45.

Clearly, in the picture above, it is not a model 1911.
But can’t tell by the picture what caliber.

Ummmm......

I shoot a 1911.. I got hooked on it in 1970.

I can easily put 5 in the black in less than 5 seconds and still have time to do a quick inspection of the target before it turns away from view, (5 second exposure)

Yes, it recoils and the older models have a slight twist to the recoil, but I do this one handed and always have.
