Terry McAwful (Leftist Clinton crony Gov of Va) has already called the grieving dad who is vowing to DO SOMETHING about crazies getting guns as a legacy for his daughter. I understand where the dad is coming from & we’ve had several shootings/stabbing in Va. by those that are mentally ill as this guy no doubt was. As usual, the Left’s solution to a minority of mentally ill people getting guns will be to take them away from the majority. This poor dad, with all his good intentions and intense grief, will be a perfect patsy for the Leftists, Bloomberg, etc. It’s sickening - what happened yesterday in particular, why this guy fell through the cracks, and how it will be exploited by the Leftist gun grabbers.
You are right about the Dad; I don’t blame anyone thrust into the limelight as a result of such a horrible act as his daughter getting killed on live TV for wanting to do “something.”
There have always been evil people willing to kill others because they didn't care about the lives of others or even their own lives.
I think it is a grave mistake to assume that such people are "sick" and need some kind of societal help to get over their sickness. Rabid dogs are sick. In order to protect innocent people, such dogs are shot on sight.
We can't shoot an evil person on sight and they don't give themselves away by foaming at the mouth. We can, however, be armed and ready at all times to defend ourselves from their actions and we should have no qualms about doing so.
Their is no societal structure which will eliminate such evil. This murderer didn't "fall through the cracks", he leaped to his death while clutching others in his grasp.
