Oh no. We have to listen again to these words that came out of Trumps mouth? How dare they. I have never seen anything like this on FR. Going back to the past to find out what someone's position was. What is this world coming to?
To be fair, posting the same articles over and over can be annoying. All candidates have shifted at least some positions, in most cases we generally know where they have "evolved".
Saying that, it is important to remind people that Trump has "evolved" on nearly everything in a fairly short period of time. No one here truly believes most other candidates that do that, we all tend to assume it is political expediency - but with Trump this fanatical Trumpkin core seem to believe everything "the Donald" has to say no matter how ridiculous or how utterly counter it was to positions he held only a few short months/years ago.
Not sure it matters. You could post an article from 2 days ago where Trump talks about massive tax increases on the top bracket and people who once opposed the Democrats for proposing the same things would suddenly support it - for no other reason than Trump is saying it. Then if Trump rejected the idea a few days later, they'd say they now support this new position.
