I have no problem with them using fetal tissue. It's the method of obtaining it that I strongly object to. Couples sometimes lose fetuses due to miscarriages, etc. Such a couple might want to donate some tissue to science. That would not be unlike someone donating his body to science after death.
But abortion is murder. The tissue there is fruit from a poisonous tree, so to speak, and so must be rejected on moral grounds.

There is NO NEED for aborted fetal tissue for any medical research. That is an outright LIE intended to fool ignorant, naive non-medical people.

I am reminded of a very strange thing I heard: IIRC, it was part of the Democrat Convention in 04. Some woman was speaking and every time she mentioned embryonic stem cell research as something it was necessary to fight for, there was a HUGE roar from the crowd.
The only conclusion I could come to was that ESC research justifies abortion, so they really, really, really want to keep it going.
