Every sulfurous belch from the molten interior of the volcanic Trump phenomenon injures the chances of a Republican presidency. After Donald Trump finishes plastering a snarling face on conservatism, any Republican nominee will face a dauntingly steep climb to reach even the paltry numbers that doomed Mitt Romney.

The GOP needs to be shaken up. If they nominate another Romney moderate reach-across-the-aisle type, they will lose again.
GWill and the other elites need to study why Trump is running 2x to 3x ahead of his closest competitors. The GOP currently exists because of Battered Conservatives Syndrome. The conservatives won't/can't leave the GOP and the GOP needs
them their votes. When the conservatives eventually wake up and realize they have no real position within the GOP, the GOP is over.

Why does this sound IDENTICAL to “How can they vote against their own interests?” which is one of the favorite memes of the Libs?

It is truly amazing at how the MSM has blatantly discarded any notion of a fair and unbiased press that merely reports the news. Now they want to tell us what to think, who to vote for, what is right and what is wrong as well as what is news.
We know who they would like to anoint...

Maybe so.
But let’s say that DOES happen.
Whose fault is that?
Trump’s?
Or the gutless, spineless GOP who consistently tells us that we have to just take it, so we don’t tick off the left, b/c if we do that we will lose?
