Key provision of Obamacare: electronic health records.

Well, I’m not surprised, and this isn’t true just for healthcare. That figure may even be underestimated because there are some companies whose security is so bad they might be compromised and not even know it.

Even with the best security, there are always new vulnerabilities being discovered and someone is going to get hit before the patches come out to protect against them. Also, all networks have human users, a permanent vulnerability for which there is no good patch yet :)

Only one way to fix this ... Drain more money from direct patient care to invest in IT.
