To: Tolerance Sucks Rocks; Squawk 8888
A couple of years ago I took a short cut through Ontario driving from Detroit to Buffalo.While driving on one of their "Interstates" (IIRC it was Route 401) there were several large signs saying that if you exceeded the speed limit by a certain amount (can't recall exact figures) you'd be fined $10,000 and your car would be seized.

I'd avoid those new lanes and stick to 60 MPH so as to avoid those penalties.

If you’re 50km/h (~30mph) over the limit your licence is immediately suspended for 7 days and the car is impounded. On the 401 that would be at ~90mph.
