CNN Is Screwing Over Carly Fiorina: She's No. 7 in Polls, But CNN Pretends She's Not Even in Top 10
Pajamas Media ^ | 08/28/2015 | Michael van der Galien

Businesswoman turned politician Carly Fiorina is angry with CNN. The reason? The network is likely to leave her out of its prime time debate because she’s supposedly not polling in the top 10.

The only problem with that? She clearly is.

As Howie Kurtz explained on Fox News, CNN, however, is using older polls — from before the first Fox News debate — to assemble its “top 10″ of candidates. It’s clear that this is extremely bad for Fiorina, since she barely had name recognition before that debate. After it, however, she quickly surged in the polls and suddenly become a top contender.

You’d think that CNN would understand that debates actually matter and that a few weeks (let alone a few months) are an eternity in politics, but they’re having none of it. From the looks of it, the cable channel will not change its selection process. This means that Fiorina will once again have to participate in the kids’ table debate, missing out on the big audience that the top 10 debate is sure to draw since they’re up in prime time.

Of course, CNN could change their system in the blink of an eye, but they’ll likely refuse to do so because they don’t want to “give in” to the demands of one of the candidates — says Kurtz. Well, of course they wouldn’t. To the networks, this entire primary process is — of course — not about the actual candidates, but about themselves. It’s about their ratings, their influence, their power and their reputation. Republican voters can lose, as long as the networks win.

This flies in the face of the interests of the Republican National Committee. The RNC has to learn from this debacle and make sure it — and nobody else — organizes future debates. Networks can air the debates – - obviously — but it’s not up to them to come up with the rules and to decide who can and can’t participate.

Carly is a threat to Hillary. And she is their girl.

Not as incompetent as Obama isn’t really a ringing endorsement. Fiorina was a terrible CEO, I wouldn’t put her in charge of a lemonade stand.

Former Employee at HP writes of Carly:

Carly is the worst person in the world to run our country. I was there when she ran HP.

One of her first agendas was to dump the 3 company jets and then lease 4 new jets to replace them, which cost millions of dollars... There was nothing wrong with the 3 other jets.

Then she had the inside of the hanger painted Pink, I guess just to make a statement.

One of the worst things she did was purchase Compaq computer company. Compaq was already on the ropes and ready to go under. She then gave herself a 65 million dollar bonus for the purchase. As if she was not making enough money.

She then cut back spending on R and D to save the company money, and laid off 30 thousand employees.

At the end she was so hated that we were not told when she would come to visit the sites.

I was also told that that the conference room chairs were all cabled together, probably so no one would throw a chair at her. She also had body guards in black suits around her to protect her.

That is such a change when people would gather around Hill Hewlett and Dave Packard since they were so loved. Carly- You CAN GO TO HE__!!!!!!!!!!!

These 0-5%’ers can only pray that they slip and accidently say something visionary or innovative at the next debate?

“Call her the anti-Steve Jobs,” ...wrote Infoworld,... who put her on a list of tech’s all-time top 25 fiascoes.

During her tenure, the company’s stock lost nearly 50% of its value, thousands of employees lost their jobs to layoffs, and Ms. Fiorina was forced to resign (read: “fired”) by HP’s board.

In USA Today, CBS Moneywatch, and Portfolio.com, she was ranked among the... “worst CEOs in America.”.... On the day her departure was announced, HP’s stock went up—and she received a $31 million severance package.

Pretty much all tech was down during the same time period. Tech bubble burst, Greenspan raised rates, and 9/11. Anyone can do a compare chart with CSCO, INTC, whatever tech bellwether and they’ll see a huge drop off from pre-2000 highs.

Then why didn’t you post it from another source. She is in 5th place and deserves to be on the stage.

Pointing out failures at HP is pretty weak cheese. You could point to Steve Jobs as a failure during those years too. She could be a decent Governor or Senator from CA.

Carly Fiorina’s so called “impressive” resume includes working during her student summers at a hair salon, and as a secretary for Kelly Services. Which she exaggerates beyond belief!....
She attended the UCLA Law School in 1976 but ‘dropped out’ after one semester,... then worked as a receptionist for six months at a real estate firm...and of course being fired at HP after running it into the ground.

When you look at her background she has very poor interpersonal skills other than grandstanding in the media about Hilary’s faults.....which anyone can be a mouth piece against Hillary.

It's very much debatable she is polling at 5th place.....I'm not a poll watcher and give very little credence to them for all candidates can find polls to support them..and do.

Carly is however, the favorite currently of the GOP and the media certainly is carrying the so called “injustice” for the GOP......they want to see her on stage....she's the “next show”.

Pointing out Carly's disastrous record at HP is not “weak cheese”...it's well known throughout the industry....she didn't get the title of one of the "Worst CEO's" for nothing.. It's well known and reported as so Carly shipped American jobs to both India and China according to the Center for Industrial Competitiveness...... Fiorina cut workers' salaries by $130 million while collecting $90 million for herself, according to the book, "Greed and Good.".. While other CEO's during the dot.com crisis took pay cuts, Carly Fiorina took a 231% raise, according to Executive Excess of 2003......Further While at HP, she traded with Iran in violation of U.S. trade sanctions by using a foreign entity.

I would urge you to read Fiorina, al-Mansour and the World Economic Forum,...from 2010 on Canada Free Press by J.B. Williams. He states in this article:

Carly Fiorina sat on the Foundation Board of the World Economic Forum, which has observer status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

Congressional support for global governance will not wane on Carly's watch. Agenda 21 and "sustainable development" are the new buzz words for "global socialism" through global governance and Carly sits on the Foundation Board at the mother ship.

We should be asking Carly to describe her long-term relationship with Dr. Khalid al-Mansour—aka Don Warden, Black Panther puppet master, Saudi Royal front-man and Obama education financier.

Fiorina sits on other Boards with al-Mansour, such as the African Leadership Academy. Al-Mansour, aka Don Warden, was the man behind the men of the Black Panther movement in the 1960s. He has long held hope for a "black nationalist" president, starting as far back as his relationship with Malcolm X. In fact, X died while speaking at one of al-Mansour's college campus rallies.

Also, please check out the article by Tim Brown on Freedom Outpost entitled Carly Fiorina: Islamic Civilization was "Greatest in the World." The author asks a great question at the end of the article, "So, Fiorina has promoted lies from an anti-Christ religion and culture.

Is this really the kind of person conservatives, let alone Christians, should be getting behind? If she does this with Islam and history, what do you think her mindset would be when it comes to the Constitution?"

Yup. She's being screwed, and Jeb is getting boost from their policies. Is anyone at all surprised by this?

Personally, I don't support her one tiny bit, but it shouldn't be up to the media to decide who is "legitimate" or not, especially since it is obvious that they are supporting the establishment with their policies.

Fironia is there because she’s a woman......not because of her accomplishments...she’s a big time socical/political climber and cares nothing for people.

No she is not, I worked at HP on many initiatives and she knows it takes brains and ideas not cheap labor. The entrenched HP bureaucracy which I ran into as well created a big mess, Meg Whitman is doing a lot of what Carly wanted but the board opposed.

So do you have a link where she states that she wants the laws enforced and illegal aliens deported?

She has supported “Comprehensive Immigration Reform” aka amnesty and the DREAM Act.

....”I was there and know what meshing 2 cultures who had been at war takes, and it ain’t playing pattycake”....

Well now...and you think you’re the only one that has been through such as if HP was the solo merge going on in the nation then or since?

It’s never playing patty cake as one side pits against the other despite “merging”....how about being the ONLY lead individual on site while the merge gets underway....so I’m well aware of what it’s like being in enemy territory.
