Margaret Sanger was a monster no less despicable than our current horde of PP supporters. We wouldn’t tolerate a bust of Charles Manson in the Smithsonian, Sanger deserves no acclaim whatsoever.
I agree. I am not objecting to demolishing the statue, I just don’t think doing it is JUST symbolism. There are many good outcomes that start with symbolism...The Boston Tea Party is just one of numerous seemingly unimportant acts.

I say leave it up and edit its signage to fully represent Sanger’s love of eugenics, hate of minorities, and love of population control. Maybe tack on some pictures of her at cross burnings and wrap it up by saying she’s a hero to the Democrat Party.

I am just really tired of oh we can’t actually do anything of actual consequence, so let’s do something of no actual consequence.
A preferable course of action would be to outlaw the existence of this Nazi baby butcher outfit in this country, and prosecute to the fullest everyone who did this or was involved in this, and then after this success is achieved, you then celebrate you actual success with the symbolism of removing her statue from the museum.
To start with symbolism and stop with symbolism is to fail.

Respectfully disagree! It is part of a major tactical move to wedge the democrat positions away from civilized society. They must now defend the ideas of a woman responsible for the deaths of 53 million innocents including 1,000 black babies every day. Removing the Sanger bust, defunding Planned Barenhood changing laws are all part of a larger strategy to protect the lives of innocent Americans. Something that a president is required to do. Symbols are cultural signposts, Cruz wants to change the culture, changing the symbols is a part, but only a part of the larger mission.

Sometimes you have to start with symbolism, get the attention, support follows and then the problem is solved.

This is still an admission that in lieu of doing anything of actual consequence, we will do something of no consequence.
