He can have his opinion, but he should act on it. He is free to pay more in taxes. He is also free to read history and know that what I said about government spending is totally true.....thus he’s put himself in an impossible predicament, and your attempt to use it to make a point was an epic fail.

The hell it isn’t what you said. Of course he knows he can pay more taxes if he wants, he isn’t an idiot. The point is that it isn’t the paying the taxes that is the problem it is how the money is spent regardless of how governments have historically spent it.
