New historical research shows there's no evidence that Walt Disney was a rabid anti-Semite, according to a new documentary.

The cartoon pioneer's legacy has been dogged by claims that he was biased against Jews. However, biographers and filmmakers who recently re-examined the subject are calling those allegations into question.

It's "absolutely preposterous to call him anti-Semitic," composer Richard Sherman said Sunday, commenting on a new PBS American Experience documentary that will air next month.

There was never any evidence.

This was quite literally a communist smear.

He stood against the communist led unionization. And later testified to HUAC about the involved communist and has been proven correct by history.

You might have noticed...Walt is dead, and no longer responsible for the actions of Disney Corp.

Walt Disney was rabid anti-communist, that is why the PBS hit job.

This leftist smear has been accepted into “common knowledge”, mostly by smug media leftists jealous of Disney. “Family Guy” has used the leftist dog character to trash Disney as an anti-Semite several times.

Cal Arts, the college he founded in Valencia, CA, teaches that he was an anti-Semite. This, of course, is to destroy his vision of America - a beautiful dream as exemplified by movies like Pollyanna (one of his most brilliant.) and replace it with the usual “cutting edge,” ugly view of America.

Say, while we’re at it, speaking of dead public figures, how about that Margaret Sanger?

Given the historical precedent that most of the biggest studios in Hollywood were founded by Jewish filmmakers who headed to the Los Angeles area to avoid being harassed by one Thomas A. Edison in the New York City area (and as such the entertainment community in Hollywood at the time had a large Jewish representation), it’s likely that the Walt Disney Company hired many people of Jewish descent as the animation studio grew throughout the 1930’s. Just that right there tells me Mr. Disney himself wouldn’t have done this if he was anti-Semitic.

What’s this biased against Jews nonsense? Obama despises Jews, and Jewish politicians vote for everything he wants.

"Now his company is heterophobic."

Oh shut up!

Disney employes ("cast members") are some of the nicest folks I've ever met.

They very well maybe, but they don’t have much control over the company. The executives make these decisions.
