I have been arguing for some time that the Jeb Bush campaign has nothing going for it except money and it now appears that this last prop is falling away.

The choice is not between Jeb Bush and Donald Trump, the choice is between Ted Cruz and Donald Trump. Eventually, Marco Rubio will emerge to take over Jeb's role.

That may well be, but we must not just leave John Ellis Bush for dead, risking a McCain or Kerry style comeback. He must be humiliated, destroyed, either pulling out before the first caucus to avoid inevitable humiliation, or better yet, coming in fifth or worse in Iowa and New Hampshire before pulling out.

He has to become a permanent example for what can happen when the Establishment wants to anoint one of these. He has to be our equivalent of the left's "Oh yeah? Well look at Barry Goldwater in 1964!"

That has as much relevance now as people saying during the Rockefeller-Goldwater contest "Oh yeah? Well look what happened to Taft in 1912!"

“Eventually, Marco Rubio will emerge to take over Jeb’s role.”

I don’t see that happening...Trump won’t allow it and will smack him down, big-time, by bringing up his Amnesty bill in 2013.

But, I could be wrong, perhaps Trump will see some value in Rubio, as a way to hold down more credible candidates - but at some point Trump will unload on him - he’s just too easy of a target.

“Marco Rubio will emerge to take over Jeb’s role”.

Here’s a few of little Marco’s RINO credentials...

1. I would go to a sodomite “wedding”.
2. I refuse to use the word anchor baby.
3. A wall will not do much good.
4. I teamed up with my buddies Juan McRINO and Linda Graham to peddle amnesty. Didn’t work out but I will never quit trying.

Trump's only got 2 days to fizzle out by the end of August.

Otherwise, will have to project to end of September?

You will be able to tell who Jeb's replacement will be by the MSM coverage. Rubio is a good possibility. Of course, Trump has already targeted Rubio in his immigration position paper.

Increase prevailing wage for H-1Bs. We graduate two times more Americans with STEM degrees each year than find STEM jobs, yet as much as two-thirds of entry-level hiring for IT jobs is accomplished through the H-1B program. More than half of H-1B visas are issued for the program's lowest allowable wage level, and more than eighty percent for its bottom two. Raising the prevailing wage paid to H-1Bs will force companies to give these coveted entry-level jobs to the existing domestic pool of unemployed native and immigrant workers in the U.S., instead of flying in cheaper workers from overseas. This will improve the number of black, Hispanic and female workers in Silicon Valley who have been passed over in favor of the H-1B program. Mark Zuckerberg’s personal Senator, Marco Rubio, has a bill to triple H-1Bs that would decimate women and minorities.

Look for Kasich to emerge along with Walker if and when Bush goes below the waves.

Somebody once wrote a song about this sort of thing ... IIRC, it was ‘Send in the Clowns’

“Jeb’s role” would more likely be taken over by Kasich if Jeb continues to crater. Rubio will be responsible at least partially for Jeb’s cratering by refusing to “wait his turn” and allow Jeb to have his, however, same as he did against Crist...he is twice out of favor with the establishment...but due to his own folly of originally aligning himself with that terrible bill in 2013, those that would support him are cautious about the man they used to like and he’s just in the background as a possible “second choice.” But for that, he might be in a much better position now...actions have consequences.
