If it has an orifice, there are men who will use it.
Women in burkas get raped. Goats get raped. They don’t dress for sex.
However there are some women who literally ‘ask for it’. One comes to min...Miley Cyrus.
You've never been to Montana, have you?
Ms. Hynde was, I suppose, summarizing a whole confluence of factors that make rape more probable. It’s a shame that she chose probably one of the least important - clothes - as opposed to factors such as being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, being alone late at night with a lot of other drunk or drugged people, having previously engaged in various personal intimacies with the people around, and so on.
If clothing was the main point, there would be assaults at all the beaches and swimming pools, but there aren’t: at least, not in the daytime, not when people are sober, etc. Men would be throwing themselves on women bulging out of their clothes at Walmart, but they’re not.
In my opinion, if she used the words “entice a rapist,” then whatever verbal feedback she gets is completely justified. That’s a Sharia-compliant thing to say.
