Kicking in the butt? I prefer a heavy boot. Limber up, stretch those calf muscles - you want a good swift boot to to the butt, not a pulled calf muscle.
Now, everyone has their favorite position, I like to stand in a door way to I have a good range to swing my foot, while bracing myself in the door way for balance.
Get a few good practice swings in first.
Swing your leg up, then swing back and be sure to bend the knee for complete ankle to ass connection.
Repeat as necessary. Hope this helps.
