I was out bicycling this morning on a local cycling trail and encountered a fellow cyclist going the other way who clearly had a holstered autoloader. He may have been a LEO but I just saw the “GUN” ...

BOY, was I upset! Took me about an added 15 seconds to make it home - WOW!

td’s Carry Lecture

Some here think they can carry a Desert Eagle in an external chest holster like it’s wearing a bow tie.

News flash, pistoleros: Open carry scares people.

I remember a gun writer/LEO who gave a demonstration, walking on stage in a suit. No one noticed anything unusual.
He proceeded to unlimber from his person a half dozen pistols, ranging from a .45 to .40, a .357, a .38 to .32 and .22.

This time of year I can and do always carry a Springfield XDS .45 in a De Santis pocket holster, front pocket, and two mags in left pocket—in my corduroy shorts (practically lederhosen) held up with Perry belt suspenders.
And a Glock 19 or Ruger SR9, with extra mag, in a belt pack.
A minute after finishing, I forget they’re there and if anyone notices, I’ve never had any indication.
Who wants some lefty drama queen screaming like Ned Flanders because he sees your piece?

It’s not you, SES1066. I saw a guy the other day in civilian clothes with a Glock, open carry on his hip and I did a double-take.
As far as I’m concerned, at least in my area it’s like wearing a too-tight Speedo to the pool, but more alarming.

Just because you can do something doesn’t necessarily mean you should ... with all objections as if stated to the resident `Earps’.
