The current trend of casual “cargo pants” for everyday wear presents a unique opportunity. I wear 511 brand “tactical pants” at work with lots of pockets to hold the gadgets I need. The side pockets on these pants are huge and will easily conceal a Ruger LCR 5 shot .38SPL in a good pocket holster. Belt holsters work well if you are long and lean with wide shoulders. I have learned that for a squatty body like me a pocket full of .38 is just the ticket. In 5 years of using this carry method I have never been busted - even by people who knew I was carrying - somewhere ;-)
Carhartt trousers work in similar fashion for me. I am old and cargo pants ake me look silly in my eyes.
I am looking forward to owning my first Ruger LCR. I just adore the piece.
And... I wear a coat and tie everyday. I would love any suggestions about a really solid belt holster for “between the waist and the back” carry.
I am a fan of the hammer-snap.
Sorry, but that trend ended several years ago, or so I was informed by my wife as I donned my fav slacks, cargo pants, the other day.
Nonetheless, they're still good for me. The problem is that I carry so much stuff in so many different pockets that things wind up in the washer that shouldn't be there. I've never washed a gun, though.
I’ve always found a purse handy. And no worries about printing
Same here.
