He is less beholden to the political apparatus than other candidates, and less so than other politicians in recent memory. (Ross Perot to an extent, but not to this degree.)
There will be attrition of those who will not serve under Trump. There will be termination of those who are not considered suitable in a Trump administration, for performance or redundancy or other variable reasons.
Turnover will be good. "Decimation" is probably too strong a word.
But I can fantasize about midlevel career appointees throwing themselves out of the fifth floors of K Street buildings, can't I?
I don't see Trump leading a resurgence of America. I do see him capable of kicking over and smashing up and creating enough rubble for Americans to pull themselves out of this cultural trainwreck the collectivists are driving us through.
