Cruz is my first choice, but my last choice would be someone Trump is most likely to hit. If polled, I would deny the unfavorable opinion I had of Trump before that became clear. Now it’s Trump until the Bushmegedon danger is past. Then we can hope for Cruz. But it’s a given that The Donald wouldn’t be anyone’s VP, and Cruz would be more valuable in the Senate - or SCOTUS - than as VP.
