Case law is law. Employees don’t get to say when their employer is abusing their office. That is a legal determination and the courts have ruled. The clerks should all resign. Or sabotage and get ready to go to jail to express their civil disobedience.

I didn’t change the government, the liberals did. And not legitimately. The brave will fight it. The weak will submit.

It’s a bit like being a Christian in Nazi Germany. You are not going to be able to keep your job if upholding certain despicable laws is your job.

This is a lot closer to the truth than perhaps you realize. The Nazis were also mostly a bunch of Homosexual sadists as well. They were literally the "GayStapo" of that era.

Did you notice the Libertarian telling me about the need to obey the law? My first thought was the workers at the concentration camps that lined up all the victims to go into the ovens. "But I vas jus following der Law!"

It will get a lot worse before it’s over. Hence my tag line. It really is getting exponentially worse since I started using that tag about two years ago.

I had a friend I went to high with decades ago. I told him all this stuff was going to happen, and he said I was nuts. A few years ago he called me up and told me I had been absolutely right about everything.

Yeah , I know. We are heading for Kristallnacht.

I would like to see some sheriffs stand up and refuse to uphold the SCOTUS order. All the clerks need to refuse.

It is time for some civil disobedience.

Face it. If they had ruled against the homos, they'd never be invited to another of the cocktail parties to go to in DC. They'd be shunned.

“I pray I’ll live long enough to see DC nuked off the face of the earth one day.”

I second that motion ... Shall we put it to a vote?

The clerk should continue to refuse and the Director of the Records should issue a stern-wink-wink letter to follow the law but never do anything to enforce it.

If US Marshals are called in, let the people of KY stand about 30 deep around the entrances with the Sheriffs just standing around with their arms folded, rolling their eyes and whistling.

Have the clerks sleep at supporter’s homes every other night or so that a night raid won’t be able to find them to arrest.

Do that for months and months until a groundswell across the country breaks out and SCOTUS becomes a target for 2016 election campaigning led by Donald Trump and Ted Cruz proposing an amendment to the Constitution to get some control over these black robed creeps.

If it is a public agency you would be forcing to agency to do something the courts have ruled is illegal.

They are ruling me and my kind illegal. We are the "new Jews" and they are ushering in Kristallnacht. At this point we need to quit worrying about this game of liars poker and just start trying to wreck these people in any way we can.

I do not regard the supreme court as the final arbiter. If they rule against "the laws of nature, and of Nature's God" then they are going to lose in the long run anyways.

I need not throw my lot in with them by paying respect to their power grab.

I am no longer a libertarian. I would think Libertarians would support the right of the employer and in this case the responsibility to carry out case law.

When Libertarians wake up, they discover that you can't have a functional fiscal system without a functional social system underpinning it.

As I often point out, Adam Smith and Edmund Burke were not only contemporaries, but close personal friends. They discussed philosophy with each other, and their works are intended to be taken together synergistically rather than as separate philosophies.

“This is tyranny, and tyrants deserve no obedience.”

What the tyrants truly deserve will never happen, since there no longer exists in this country any man with the balls to carry out the deed.

That argument ("Just following orders") didn't work for the soldiers at the concentration camps during WWII, why should we allow it to work here?

I hate clips too. This is why I was trying to find the text of what he said. Don't watch it if you think it will offend you, though a lot of people found it profound.

It simply does a very good job of making the point I am constantly trying to make; That you can't have a functional secular system without a functional social system underpinning it.

“Opponents of gay marriage are being marginalized like Jews in 1933-1935 Germany.”

Then, unlike the Jews of that era, we had best get on with a proper application of the Second Amendment ... Because that is where this is all going to end eventually, whether we agree or not. There is no point in denying the fast approaching conflict, so we might as well get on with the nasty business. We either go down standing like men, or else we will be slain on our knees.

Give me a frickin break!

McConnell is not up again for re-election until 2020.

Kentucky will handily re-elect Rand Paul to the US Senate in 2016, and if we still have a country, they will re-elect Mitch in 2020 (if he manages not to be hung for treason).

"Not surprising. The Supreme Court, like the rest of Washington, is ruled by degenerate filth, determined to make America a pervert nation. I pray I’ll live long enough to see DC nuked off the face of the earth one day."

Can you imagine if that happened during the "State of the Union Address", with Congress and the Supreme Court right there in attendance, to hear the President's speech?

Can you picture all the American people after that, singing this sad, mournful dirge?

Thanx for the historical perspective. I guess every government employee has the right to not have their evil employees change their duties or the nature of the service they provide. So if you work 40 years they have to wait till you retire.

And when Christians have to make their way to the courthouse to get their tattoos, they should all just go quietly.

Cause after all, it's "The Law!"

I await your overthrow of the government and freeing all of us oppressed citizens and government clerks as our fathers did in Germany and Japan.

The Supreme Court acted ILLEGALLY.

They also acted in violation of the First Amendement, saying it's not applicable to anyone who calls themselves a Christian.

We live in scary times. I'm comforted by the fact that I've read about these times in my Bible as recently as today in 2nd Thessalonians Chapter 2 which states:

The Man of Lawlessness

(1) Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, (2) not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come. (3) Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness[a] is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. (4) He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

(5) Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? (6) And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. (7) For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. (8) And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. (9) The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, (10) and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. (11) For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie (12) and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

And finally, what we are admonished to do in the face of evil:

Stand Firm

(13) But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you as firstfruits[b] to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. (14) He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. (15) So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings[c] we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter. (16) May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, (17) encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.

AMEN! We who call Christ our Lord and Savior know who wins in the end, and it's not those who are perpetrating this evil upon our country. They will rue the day they brought such evil on our country.

In your example, the store owner started selling products that the woman personally could not in good conscience sell. The new products were not passed off as something they were not.

What the owner did not do is change the meaning of words, and then demand that she play pretend. If the store owner started stocking alcohol, but called it orange juice, and then not only insisted that the cashier accept it as orange juice, but threatened to fire her if she got uppity by deciding not to sell the new orange juice...

... what kind of wacko psycho behavior is that [on the part of the owner]? The poor woman should not have to embrace make-believe as a new condition of employment. The delusional boss is the one who should be sent into paycheck exile.

Religious preferences? These outrages are about normal employees being punished for retaining a firm grasp on reality, reason and truth as their reprobate employers lose their minds.

Could you cite the case law or bill that requires that and where do we line up? Don’t you know the liberals have won. They have won on illegal immigration, foreign affairs, universities, large states with all the votes., downsizing the military. The litany is on display here everyday. If you have a game plan to reverse all of the madness, please share it.
