I don't think Clinton is 'surging' as much as this poll didn't include Joe Biden. Pollsters have been sticking Biden's name in recent polls, despite zero indication he's running, and he has been drawing double-digit support, almost all of it from Clinton. You drop his name from the polls, Clinton goes back to a commanding national lead over Uncle Bernie.
I think it's mostly just the media trying to drum up interest by making it appear closer than it really is. Clinton's deeply flawed, but there is not way in hell the DNC is going to let that loon Bernie Sanders be their representative in November 2016.

Notice that they never disclose where they poll or any demographics, such as age, gender, race, ethnicity, voter registration, etc. ......They don’t even disclose how many answered their poll or if the polling was done by phone or over the internet. ......It’s all BS!
