The GOPe wants to have us involved in emotional wedge issues like Planned Parenthood and other things to divert our attention from acts of civil disobedience which are a threat to the political order the Uniparty wants in this country.

When Martin Luther King and others took to the streets and went to jail for civil rights John F. Kennedy and Bobby Kennedy were there to try to undermine their efforts. When King got hero status at Birmingham and with his “I Have A Dream” speech Kennedy moved into deep panic mode fearful about his party’s political future.

JFK was afraid the Democrats would lose the next election because of all the civil disobedience and worse breaking out on America’s streets in 1963.

JFK was willing to talk about ‘equality’ but unwilling to take action because he would lose pro-segregation Democrat votes.

He sent out the FBI to spy on MLK......

This is a hot potato for the Republican Party they would rather ignore.

In KY it’s the other way around. Remember that KY is one of the few states left where a Democrat needs to present the appearance of being a Conservative to win the important state wide offices.

IT holds off-year elections. So various offices, including all statewide ones, are up this November.

The KY AG, who is a Democrat and could indict the clerk, is contorting himself into a pretzel trying to mnimize the political damage from this. His he indicts he spurs turnout by the “bitter clingers” and hands the election to Matt Bevins. If he fails to indict he runs the risk of having the Louisvill and Lexington Progressive crowd stay home.

This is going to make for a very interesting Fall for KY politics.

Considering King’s association with Stanley Levison and others tied to the CPUSA during the height of the Cold War, the FBI surveillance of King was justified.

The “Party” may ignore the issue - but the voters will not.
