So what is the conclusion for this woman? She makes 80 grand a year and has not worked since the Supreme Court Verdict. What should be done to at least save the 80 grand that she makes if she were to resign. I think resigning would be the best way to show her principles on this. although her principles are a bit lacking in other areas of her life, but this one she is dead on.

The Clerk does much more then issue marriage license so your main lie is destroyed. 2nd her name goes on the marriage certificates so its much more then issuing a license its an affirmative act of endorsement of a sin which a Christian cannot do. No different here then if its a clerk issuing the paperwork to send Jews to gas chambers or ordering blacks back into slavery under YOUR (democrats) Jim Crow laws.

She shouldn’t resign. A court clerk does more than just issue marriage licenses. I assume she’s largely doing her job. I’d say she just keep doing her thng until the people remove her if they decide to do that

This is not without precedent for an elected official.

The late Governor Casey (D-PA), the father, not the present Senator son, took his pro-life stance to the logical conclusion and refused to sign any death warrants for those on death row for his tenure.

He did not resign over it, even though it was part of his job.
