Treason isn’t just slipping some secrets to another country because you like them.

Treason is taking money from someone to release national secrets.

This isn’t about Democrat versus Republican politics.

The Democrats have bamboozled the press for so many years that the lazy reporters categorize everything as politics.

This is about national security.

The press better wake up to this or they might be facing treason charges.

And treason gets people hung.

Who are we kidding? Nothing will stop the Beast, not this “silly” email thing that’s for sure. Nothing will happen to her legally and she will be the nominee.

“With the FBI continuing to investigate, Hillary Clinton’s growing email scandal shows she cannot be trusted with the White House,” Priebus said.

What? She can't be trusted outside a prison cell. She can't be trusted as a citizen.

In one of her first denials I remember the qualifying words, "at the time" coming out of her mouth. As in the emails were not classified "at the time" or such an action was not illegal "at the time."

She really thinks she is going to wheedle her way out of this scandal and still make it to the White House.

“at the time” or such an action was not illegal “at the time.”

http://dictionaryblog.cambridge.org/2013/01/07/words-of-watergate/

...
The senate Watergate hearings featured lots of similarly creative language. Dean, a star witness at these hearings, which transfixed the nation, used the stock phrases at this point in time and at that point in time, meaning now and then, so often that they summed up the tenor of his testimony in the public mind. Laughable as the circumlocutions may seem at first sight, they serve a purpose: They allow the speaker to fill the air with words while his (or her) mind races ahead to frame the answer to a question.

And more hillary-like tactics discussed at the link.

Agree and further to the point it does NOT have to be marked classified to be treated as classified nor pursuant to the law does someone “knowingly” have to be aware it is classified. Simply put if it is in your personal possession then it is under your care. Additionally, one of the emails “supposedly” not marked detailed satellite images. I’m sorry but if she did not handle that as classified after reading it the buffoon cannot be trusted with any information

“”Clinton told a top deputy to send [delete “now-] classified information to her personal email address” ...There. Fixed it.”

The information is classified based on content and the governing security classification guide. I believe it is very safe to assume the classification guide being used now is the same one (or uses the same guideline/rule) as when the email was created. Hillary knew what the subject matter was, just not the specific details she was requesting - thus she knew (or should have known - no excuse at her level) that she was requesting a violation of law. The “top deputy” likewise knew, or should have known, that the information he was sending was classifiable, and that she was requesting the information be sent outside secure channels - a clear violation. No excuses. Both should be prosecuted.

This is likely just the first of what will be many examples of people knowingly violating security guidelines based on a request from Hillary - they will likely try to excuse their action on the basis she was in charge and since she asked for it in an unclassified manner they could provide the information per her request.

Incompetence at best, but not only at the top, all the way down. The next president has a huge house cleaning job in front of him/her.

One of the laws she has broken, in effect, states that she can not hold office (ie. the Presidency). It doesn’t say she has to be convicted, just commit the act(s). That portion looks like it can’t be pardoned away.

Hillary got fired from the Watergate committee because she was trying to circumvent the Constitution by working out a way by which Nixon would have no legal representation at his impeachment trial.

I honestly think that she thinks she will escape this "minor email difficulty" and skate to glory by winning the White House.

She has not had any other trajectory in her life.

I am also thinking that maybe when she is in the deepest part of her travail, we should deny her any legal representation, forcing her to be her own lawyer.

Wouldn't that be a hoot and a half?

I love the “now-classified” mantra by the media to make it sound okay... It was freaking classified communications period.

It is much like “white Hispanic” crap to push an agenda. To twist the meaning of things. To make the narrative work...

Clintons are allowed to exhaust all excuses before an indictment...this should be the rule for everyone...Does anyone not know if they are President that they can not get serviced by interns? Does anyone not know that if they are “Secretary of State” that they can not set up their own personal email server?...I like the years of excuses - it is entertaining -

Now she’s going to argue that her personal email was safer because the State Department’s email had been compromised.
