It isn’t funny, nut how many of these stories do we need before we start blaming parents who assume somebody making chump change could care less for (or is qualified to care for) their child? There is simply no reason to assume “caretakers” are doing anything of the sort; my wife took a leave of absence from her job (which we could ill afford) to look after her father when he was hospitalized for many months. She quickly realized that staff was quite willing to do nothing for anyone if they felt they could get away with it; when someone is there with the patient they move their arses.
