Union workers by definition means those who are employed. How many former union workers are there nationwide? Being in the union does provide some protection, but if the business shuts down, is in a decline, or ships its business overseas, workers lose their jobs. So that 52% stat, though very telling would probably be far lower if all those people who lost their jobs during Obama's reign could rate Obama’s Job approval.
