Rick Perry was a democrat during the Reagan administration and supported Algore in the 1988 primaries. One big difference in Perry and Trump. Perry was an elected public official and signed liberal legislation. Trump was a private citizen and his personal beliefs didn’t affect me in the least. Trump is now a conservative republican.

The pledge document itself looks childish and something a Cub Scout would produce at a Den meeting.

"I promise not to make fun of my fellow Cub Scouts, Scout Honor..."
