In that case the sign was probably seized so it couldnt be used as a weapon.
Who gets to determine whether the sign could be used as a weapon? What right did Trump's good have to take the sign?

Sounds like Trump’s guard might have overstepped the law and committed an assault. But I’m guessing they are trained pretty well, and I’ll wait for the investigation if there is one.
Was the banner being used to impede the right of way onto Trump’s property? If so, then security had every right to remove it.
