Ted Cruz does a 'Scarface' impression over the Iran nuclear deal

Washington (CNN) - Texas Sen. Ted Cruz tried out his best Tony Montana impersonation this week in an effort to illustrate his staunch rejection of the Iran nuclear deal.

Speaking to a full room in Houston, Cruz spent much of Tuesday afternoon berating the deal; comparing its element of Iranian inspection to a self-inspecting, fictional, drug kingpin.

"Have any of y'all seen the movie 'Scarface?'" Cruz asked. "This is the equivalent of law enforcement picking up the phone and calling Tony Montana and saying, 'Hey Tony, you got any drugs?' 'I don't got no drugs.' 'Thank you, Tony.' That is essentially the Iranian nuclear inspection regime."

This is not the first time the Texas senator has vocalized his opposition to the deal. In July, Cruz made headlines, claiming that the Obama administration would become "the world's leading financier of radical Islamic terrorism" if the deal was consummated.

Cruz was among the earliest of Republicans to oppose the deal, even before the its terms were announced.

The Republican presidential hopeful lobbied for support from across the aisle, even offering kind words for New York Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer.

"I have been effusively praising Chuck Schumer; something I don't do often but in this instance he's doing the right thing and it is my hope and prayer that in the coming weeks we see more and more Democrats who make the decision to put the national security of the United States of America, to put standing with our friend and ally the nation of Israel, and to put the safety and security of millions of Americans above partisan loyalty to the Obama White House," Cruz said.

A deal,or agreement,is different from a treaty in the sense whatever the Deal is it is NOT of serious consequence to the country.
The Constitution gives the President the authority to do that, but anyone with a brain can see this so called, deal or agreement as Obama is calling it has the most EXTREME consequences you can imagine.
The problem is the feckless Congress once again, don’t forget once the missiles start flying all our lovely politicians go to a comfy shelter while we all get blown to kingdom come

This is crazy. One the one hand you have Ted Cruz who basically stands for everything we stand for. On the other hand, you have Trump, who basically stands for... Trump. His positions are half in direct opposition to conservative principles.

Yet everyone forgives Trump all his Bullcrap while shining a spotlight on the one or two mistakes/flaws of Cruz.

Why do you think Ted Cruz is having the rally anyway?

Because he can't break 10%.

This Iran deal could be fatal for all of us. There is sin and there is mortal sin.

If Trump came out for a path to citizenship tomorrow his numbers would drop to 2% or less.

Sigh. Questions:

1. With Obama in office, will the presence OR absence of this deal *prevent* Iran from continuing to pursue a nuclear weapon?

2. With Obama in office, if he wants to give Iran a pile of money for whatever reason, do you honestly believe anything would stop this lawless president?

3. Does Cruz vehemently oppose the Iran deal? Is he one of the only politicians who is actually running rallies against it?

4. Would a president Cruz scuttle the whole thing within a week of being in office?

5. With Boehner and McConnell in office, do you really think any opposition to this deal is anything BUT symbolic? Has these two turds ever blocked anything Obama wanted?

So, relax with your “unforgivable sin” nonsense. An unforgivable sin would be to support a blowhard who will actually diverge from conservative principles the moment he’s elected.

Vote Trump, get Justice Kennedy.

Vote Cruz, get Justice Scalia.

Get it?

Cruz could have proposed the same immigration solution Trump did, but he chose not to.

Charge: Trump is not Conservative enough.

First, when Trump’s Republican critics claim that he’s not a “conservative,” they mean to imply both that they are conservatives and that Trump is really a “liberal” Democrat.

Their rhetoric notwithstanding, the first implication is patently false: Trump’s GOP rivals and detractors are most decidedly not conservative. The Republican Party is every bit as much a champion of Big Government and the Politically Correct ideology that it’s been used to promote as is its counterpart (To anyone who takes issue with this judgment, I pose one simple challenge: I defy you to identify a single government program, let alone an agency or department, that Republicans have cut. I’ll even be generous and allow you to go all the way back to the Reagan years. I guarantee that you can’t do it). From Townhall 8-5-15

No matter how much you dump on Trump, Cruz will not be President and I would vote for him in a heart beat.
