So, you want him to jump into a fight he can’t do anything about?

Like it or not, the supremes said queer marriage is OK by them and as long as that’s the current law, he has nothing to gain, but lots to lose by weighing in on the topic.

I know for myself, I’d find a better battleground to stake my claim against established law than to defend someone who believes so fervently in the sanctity of marriage, she’s done it 4 times. But I’m not running for President.

Even though personally I find it disgusting, John marrying Jim doesn’t affect me in any way, but the horde of illegal aliens invading our country does.

As I see it, the REAL big winners in the queer marriage lobby are the divorce lawyers. These stupid queers don’t realize how easy they had it when they could get out of their bad relationships just by leaving. I’ll be laughing my ass off at them once it sinks in that it costs a lot of money to end a relationship that’s gone sour.

BTW, I and many Freepers email Trump with all kinds of suggestions.

His staff gets them and gives him the good ones.

And yours is a keeper.

The point is, what is reasonable to expect someone to know?

What is reasonable to ding someone for, if they don’t know it.

I think you’re smart enough to figure that out when you want to.

Immigration is the bigger issue, so I am still on the Trump train, but he sucks at constitutional law.

So what happens when the SC court rules that the USA must provide a pathway to citizenship for illegals? Does he roll over and say "The Supreme Court has ruled, it's the law of the land, time to move on". Trump better hire Cruz because he (Trump) is a dummy when it comes to constitutional issues.

We appear to be on the same team, so it’s kind of pointless for us to argue about this issue.

I just want him to pick his fights judiciously and not weigh in needlessly on every topic of the day. No matter how he responds to the issue at hand, he opens himself to criticism from someone and he doesn’t need to do it.

God knows there are enough people already just waiting for him to fail so I’d prefer that he stay out of fights where he can’t win.

Does it happen?

Am I the only one the remembers when Clinton showed up to a debate with two hearing aids on claiming that he needed them to hear the questions? I have never seen him with then since.

And punitive tariffs are the way to do that? No.

Well Fridman isn't doing much for us either.

Hewitt's questions weren't sophomoric or puerile. Knowing who these guys are--especially Suleimani, especially now, while the Iran deal is going on--matters.

You realize that your heros have already assured the passage of the Iran deal and Trump had no vote in the matter right?

C’mon. There are certain things a Presidential candidate just needs to know. This isn’t gotcha.

Yeah but can he spell potato? In fact can you spell it from a card that a teacher hands you with the spelling on it?

Foolish of you to think that because acceptance means they can be you children's teachers, doctors, scout leaders, preachers, and they all recruit.

I suspect a lot of gay relationships broke up, because the conversation went something like this:

"Hooray, we can get married now, just like you promised we would once it was legal."

"Uhhh...well....uhhh.......not so fast there, can we talk this over first?"

I don’t remember hearing aids, but I do remember BULGES at the hip...definitely questionable.
