Palin Defends Trump: We Need a ‘Tough’ POTUS, Not a Master of Trivial Pursuit

Sarah Palin appeared on CNN this morning and defended Donald Trump after his less-than-stellar interview with Hugh Hewitt.

Trump’s foreign policy-focused interview was pretty widely panned for The Donald’s loose grasp on the issues. On State of the Union this morning, Tapper asked Palin if she thought Trump got “gotcha” questions.

Palin said, “I’d rather have a president who is tough and puts America first than can win a game of Trivial Pursuit.”

Even if any candidate were to regurgitate to “Trivial Pursuit” answers, just what in the H are any of them going to be able to do about even the smallest nugget of conventional wisdom until January 2016?

Whomever the winner in November, is that not what the transition team directives are for? I’ll far more trust a person who can effectively delegate authority to the proper experts to get him the concise details for he and his staff to make the proper and responsible decisions.

Nobody knows it all and anyone who thinks they do is the worst person for any job, much less the safety and security of us all.

I hope a team is forming.

Trump, Cruz, Carson, Palin ...?

Yup, just imagine how many questions the average Freeper could ask Obama that he couldn’t possibly answer.

Trump actually is as smart as they pretend that Obama is.

To me, I don’t care if the candidates know every terrorist in the book. The candidates will never convince me they care about security until they shut the damned border and expel the riff raff they have let in and protected at our expense.

They farm them in here and then they take to the media to tell us all the danger we are in from terrorists if you don’t vote for me.

All of them are disgusting.

Make no mistake. The Left will always tell you whom it is that they fear. The day after Palin’s Dayton speech the MSM was parachuting into Wasilla by the hundreds. Trump scares people who should be scared.

Trump will prove how tough he is when he stands up to the homosexual agenda. He failed his first test this week with his response to the Kim Davis situation. Trump will fall quickly if he doesn’t realize quickly that large numbers of voters actually believe in God’s word and don’t believe that the Supreme Court or anyone else can usurp Him.

Exactly. After all Barry might be able to pronounce foreign names but he doesn’t even know how many states make up the U.S.A. Remember his 57 gaffe and wasn’t that after he was elected.

Trump wants a strong foreign policy and believes that it must include 7 core principles:

a. American interests come first. Always. No apologies.

b. Maximum firepower and military preparedness.

c. Only go to war to win.

d. Stay loyal to your friends and suspicious of your enemies.

e. Keep the technological sword razor sharp.

f. See the unseen. Prepare for threats before they materialize.

g. Respect and support our present and past warrior soldiers.

President Trump’s Cabinet

Jefferson Sessions as Vice President

Department of State, (return INS.) – John Bolton
Department of Justice - Trey Gowdy (Suggested by The Donald)
Department of Treasury, (includes former Homeland Security, (Customs) – Carl Icahn (Offered and Accepted)
Department of War, (change the name back, include VA function.) – Gen. James Mattis
Department of Interior, (includes legitimate functions only of former Transportation, Homeland Security (Border Patrol,) and Energy Departments) – Gov. Palin

Department of Labor and Commerce – ELIMINATE
Department of Health and Human Services - ELIMINATE
Department of Homeland Security – ELIMINATE
Department of Education - ELIMINATE
Department of Energy – ELIMINATE
Department of Housing and Urban Development – ELIMINATE
Department of Veterans Affairs - ELIMINATE
Department of Agriculture – ELIMINATE
Department of Transportation - ELIMINATE

This proposed model has the President directly managing six subordinates which is optimal.

In non-cabinet level jobs

Sheriff Clarke should be FBI Director
Doctor Benjamin Carson as Surgeon General
Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson would be great as President Trumps Co-Press Secretaries.

He didn’t actually stand with the gays - he offered alternative solutions to the situation. Get your facts straight. Pray tell me what any candidate can do about this SC ruling? Nothing - it should never have reached the SC and should have been sent back to the states to allow them to work within their own laws.

Remember his 57 gaffe and wasn’t that after he was elected.

I don't think that was a gaffe. I think he was referring to the 57 islamic states that make up the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.

I love Sarah, but disagree that she was excellent in this interview. She stuttered and stammered all over the place with her answers.

Excellent answer from Sarah.

Palin shows once again how great she is at summing up liberal talking points in a single phrase.

She's absolutely right. It is the standards of Trivial Pursuit that the libs are using in this case.

And Trump is absolutely right, the muzzie bozos in question will probably all be gone by 2016 anyway.

And let me add one point that no one publicly has mentioned: It doesn't matter what the NAMES are, muzzie dictatorships have only one goal: the destruction of human liberty.

“Department of Justice - Trey Gowdy (Suggested by The Donald)”

Why? So he can stall other investigations of Democrats?

I mean what has the guy done to a positive end here? Nothing. But he is a great pressure relief valve. Issa was until people figured that out. Then his investigations just disappeared.

I don’t give a porcupine’s butt that Donald Trump doesn’t know some Islamic Terrorist full name. I am confident the Obama or congress doesn’t know them either with their briefings!

I like Trumps problem solving skills! He’ll take an issue put an expert on it or get all the information and come to a logical common sense solution. I as an American am so sick of the political PC - don’t rock the boat talk that come out of DC. So much could have been solved if we had elected real doers instead of political party self serving hacks!
