This is just fun. Sarah Palin was a surprise guest on The Five, which apparently was even a surprise to The Five. Watch to the end though to see Palin kick Bob Beckel for a few of the things he’s said about her: Video at the link.

Sarah Palin slammed Barack Obama’s “un-American” actions against America’s religious institutions tonight On the Record. “Welcome to government-mandated health care,” Fmr. Gov. Sarah Palin said when asked about the contraception controversy going on between the government and the Catholic Church.

President Barack Obama's grandmother, Sarah Obama, is home recovering from an accident that, judging by the condition of the vehicle, could have been much worse. "God is with me, because if you could have seen the wreckage that we came out of safe, one would wonder," Sarah Obama said Monday.

Sarah Palin is urging Florida voters to vote for Newt Gingrich on Tuesday in their state's Republican primary. "Vote for Newt," Palin told Jeanine Pirro, host of the Fox News weekend program "Justice with Jeanine."Palin made a passionate plea for Republican voters to reject Mitt Romney in Florida to keep the primary process going forward. The former Alaska governor made it crystal clear that she favors former House Speaker Gingrich, suggesting that the Republican establishment in New York and Washington is trying to anoint former Massachusetts Gov. Romney the GOP nominee. "And I say, you know, you’ve got to rage...

On Saturday night’s “Justice with Jeanine” on the Fox News Channel, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin once again stopped just short of giving former House Speaker Newt Gingrich her outright endorsement for the Republican nomination. In her appearance, she explained that despite criticisms of Gingrich’s long career in Washington, D.C., she doesn’t consider him part of the establishment because that same “establishment” is trying to hard to keep him from becoming the nominee.
-
The circling of wagons against former House Speaker Newt Gingrich has been quite a spectacle. Establishment dinosaurs like former Sen. Bob Dole, the Reaganite grande dame Peggy Noonan, the moderate agoniste David Frum, the reclusive Web guerrilla Matt Drudge, even the flame-throwing Ann Coulter—rarely do you see such a diverse array of establishment and movement conservatives in such united opposition to someone who's at least nominally conservative. Myself, I'd rather see former Gov. Mitt Romney crushed under those wagon wheels. And so, apparently, does former Gov. Sarah Palin. In an interview with Fox News Business Network, Palin opined: "Look at...

This will probably be the biggest news of the morning. Millions have wondered who Governor Palin would actually support. She’s making it crystal clear now. On Fox News, Sarah Palin says if she lived in South Carolina she’d vote for Newt. The next big question is whether Governor Perry decides to depart the race before or after Saturday. And if he departs, will he endorse Newt Gingrich, who wrote the introduction to Governor Perry’s book Fed Up! With Palin’s endorsement, Rick Perry is now in a terribly awkward spot. If he departs before Saturday, he could be a hero for...

Appearing on Fox News’ Hannity, Sarah Palin reacted in disgust to a clip from Gayle King‘s interview with First Lady Michelle Obama, where she said Americans were “confused” about how much had been accomplished by the President. “Oh, Lord. Oh, Lord — what are we just a bunch of numbskulls out here in the heartland of America?” Palin exclaimed incredulously. “Just a bunch of numbskulls who can’t read the unemployment numbers and see that 5 trillion dollars in new debt later under her husband, President Obama? 5 trillion dollars more! And we have fewer jobs today than we had before...

January 2, 2012 Palin on 'Draft Sarah' Campaign Will former vice presidential nominee join race for White House?
-
Praise from former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin could be just what Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum needs. And he got some of that Thursday night. Palin lavished praise on Santorum during a televised interview, suggesting conservatives should give him a second look for being a consistent conservative. The former Pennsylvania senator has campaigned hard in Iowa and New Hampshire, but has not gained much traction.

Although I fell in love with Sarah Palin in 2008, she had begun to drive me a just a little bit crazy recently, often so inarticulate that I thought she was trying to make Barack Obama without a teleprompter look like Pericles. All is forgiven. Sarah Palin’s decision not to run for president redeemed her. She did the right thing by her country, her party, and by herself. By not running, Palin preserves her status as a power broker in the Republican Party, which could have been diminished by a bad showing in the primaries. She will be big in...

Editorial by John Ziegler An Open E-mail to Sarah Palin 10/5/2011 The following is an actual e-mail "Media Malpractice, How Obama Got Elected and Palin Was Targeted" Filmmaker John Ziegler sent to Sarah Palin's personal e-mail address after she announced she was not running for president. Dear Governor Palin: Wow. So, is this really how your political saga is going end? By letting down your remaining supporters and telling them, with a straight face, that you can do more to impact change as a Fox News Contributor than you can as President of the United States? I was almost positive...

Statement of non-candidacy by Gov. Sarah Palin, as provided by her PACAfter much prayer and serious consideration, I have decided that I will not be seeking the 2012 GOP nomination for President of the United States. As always, my family comes first and obviously Todd and I put great consideration into family life before making this decision. When we serve, we devote ourselves to God, family and country. My decision maintains this order. My decision is based upon a review of what common sense Conservatives and Independents have accomplished, especially over the last year. I believe that at this time...

October 5, 2011 6:20 PM EDT Sarah Palin confirmed in a letter to supporters she will not run for President in 2012, saying at this time she can be more effective in a decisive role to help elect other Conservatives to office. Below is a copy of Palin's letter: October 5, 2011 Wasilla, Alaska After much prayer and serious consideration, I have decided that I will not be seeking the 2012 GOP nomination for President of the United States. The announcement is to be expected and will be coming shortly from all that I keep hearing, and my inbox is exploding. The writing is on the wall. The establishment class in the Republican party have thrown everything they could at thwarting a Palin run. There have been recent primary date changes in Florida and South Carolina. These moves were artificially moved forward to prevent any more time for a candidate to game the system, to leisurely let the field collapse before entering. This was a specifically choreographed effort by the GOP. The fear of a "Rogue" candidate is almost...

“You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!” – Taylor (Charlton Heston); The Planet of the Apes, (1968) This classic line is all that came to mind when I read this piece in POLITICO—following New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s decision not to enter the presidential field, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s law firm made a number of calls requesting early state filing deadlines… that’s right. She thinks she can blow it up. She just might. Poll Shows Palin Within 5 Points of Obama She Has A Documentary Out, Doncha Know? Palin’s political action...

Sarah Palin certainly didn't sound interested in running for president last night. "Is a title worth it-- does a title shackle a person?" the former Alaska governor asked during a discussion of her 2012 plans with Fox News' Greta Van Susteren. "Someone like me, who's maverick--you know I do 'go rogue' and I call it like I see it and I don't mind stirring it up ... [for] somebody like me, is a title and is a campaign too shackling?" "Does a title take away my freedom to call it like I see it and to effect positive change that...

It’s been a good few weeks for Sarah Palin. First, Joe McGinniss’s tell-all book about her was slammed by the mainstream media (those coming to Palin’s defense included the New York Times and even liberal antagonist Keith Olbermann). Now, a new national poll shows her trailing President Obama in a head-to-head matchup by just 5 points, 44 to 49 - this, after she had trailed him by more than 20 points for most of the year. That’s better than current GOP frontrunner Rick Perry, who trails the president 41 to 50 in the same poll. According to the survey, Palin’s...

Constitution Day has come and gone. No sign of Sarah. Frustrated? Yep, I am. Dissappointed? Yep, I am. Do I have a clue what she'll do? Nope. I'm starting to doubt, though, that she'll run. I'm starting to think she's holding out for Perry's VP slot, but pounding on him may not sit well...but Bachman seems to be doing that well herself and deflecting blame. I don't know, I'm flustered a bit. Thanks for listening out there in Freepland. What say or predict you?

Crony Capitalism on Steroids from GE to Solyndra. by Sarah Palin on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 9:25pm . In my recent speech in Iowa, some eyebrows were raised when I took on our government’s enormous economic problems caused by crony capitalism. As if on cue, just days later President Obama selected someone who exemplifies a major crony capitalism problem to sit next to the First Lady when he delivered his “jobs plan” speech before Congress. He selected General Electric CEO Jeffrey Immelt as his honored guest. Having grown up with great respect for GE thanks to stories my grandfather...

Governor Palin: Ten Years Ago Posted on September 11 2011 - 11:28 AM - Posted by: Stacy Drake Via Facebook: Ten years ago today, ordinary Americans went to work or boarded a plane and found themselves fighting on the frontlines of a battle they did not choose. They acquitted themselves with grace and courage, just as the thousands of men and women who enlisted to fight in our armed forces—many on the anniversaries of this day—in order to exact justice for their fellow Americans. We will never forget those who died ten years ago today, we will never forget those...

Could Sarah Palin still compete for the Republican nomination if she wanted to? Maybe not, longtime Republican operative (and occasional Palin adviser) Fred Malek told us on ABC's "Top Line" today. While Palin may be the one candidate for whom traditional candidacy rules don't apply, the Republican presidential race appears to have settled into a contest between Gov. Rick Perry and former Gov. Mitt Romney. "She could pick up a lot of support going in. But I think it is too late. I think the field is set, and I think it’s a great field," Malek told us. "I think...

CAMBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS — Let us begin by confessing that, if Sarah Palin surfaced to say something intelligent and wise and fresh about the present American condition, many of us would fail to hear it. That is not how we’re primed to see Ms. Palin. A pugnacious Tea Partyer? Sure. A woman of the people? Yup. A Mama Grizzly? You betcha. But something curious happened when Ms. Palin strode onto the stage last weekend at a Tea Party event in Indianola, Iowa. Along with her familiar and predictable swipes at President Barack Obama and the “far left,” she delivered a devastating...

Sarah Palin gave a speech in Manchester on Monday in which she said the Republican Party needs to nominate a 2012 presidential candidate “who can do more than just talk.” She said of conservatives, “We’re not going to just sit back on the couch and throw stones from afar.” Those are interesting rallying cries from a woman whose contributions to the 2012 election thus far have consisted entirely of talk. Unlike many in the media, we enjoy Palin’s talking. She excels at it, and to good effect. She is a highly effective motivator of the right, and with her energy...

It was just three years ago when the nation was introduced to former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, when Arizona Sen. John McCain announced that she would be his running mate in the 2008 presidential election. Since then she’s become something of a phenomenon. But would she have had what it takes to be vice president if McCain won in 2008? Former Vice President Dick Cheney isn’t quite willing to say that. /snip/ Cheney: “Well I’ve never gotten around the question of her having left the governorship of Alaska midterm,” Cheney said. “I’ve never heard that adequately explained so that I...

Doug Adams, the former potato chip salesman who founded the Iowans4Palin website last year, was asleep Sunday morning at home in Storm Lake, Iowa, when his wife, Diane, woke him up with a panicky phone call. “She was squealing,” Adams said Sunday night. “I was kinda scared.” Diane told him to get down to the lake post-haste. Sarah and Todd Palin were there, and Sarah was about to run the half-marathon. Diane had risen early to walk the course. Adams thought his wife was joking at first, since they had just returned the night before from Indianola, more than 150...

Even as Texas Gov. Rick Perry moves into the lead as Republican voters’ preferred presidential candidate, a Fox News poll released Thursday shows that voters are more likely to view him as “too extreme” than former frontrunner Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney. In addition, most American voters -- including a majority of Republicans -- think former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin should stay out of the presidential race. Perry receives the support of 26 percent of GOP primary voters in the new poll. That’s up from 13 percent in early August and enough to edge out Romney as frontrunner. Currently Romney captures...

Mark Levin is convinced that Sarah will be there merely to promote her new movie. Karl Rove is suddenly convinced that she will be making her presidential aspirations official. Dick Morris agrees with Karl, and once again we are left to wonder: Does anyone know what Mitt Romney is doing? One thing is certain, wherever Palin appears the press is sure to follow, and they will not be disappointed. The Palinistas and Tea Party faithful (dubbed Hobbits by McCain) will provide all of the atomsphere necessary on September 3rd to produce a memorable video montage for the nightly news. We...

Former Bush advisor Karl Rove says he believes former Alaska governor Sarah Palin will enter the Republican presidential race sometime around Labor Day. Appearing on Fox News Saturday morning, Rove said Palin "has a schedule next week that looks like that of a candidate, not a celebrity." Rove also cited a new campaign-style video Palin has released on her recent visit to the Iowa State Fair as evidence Palin is gearing up for a run.

During his run as interim host of ABC’s This Week with…, Senior White House Correspondent Jake Tapper lobbied valiantly (but unsuccessfully) to get former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to appear on the program. While covering the shenanigans in Iowa this week, Tapper seized on the opportunity to finally get Palin to answer some “substantive questions,” but before Palin would face Tapper’s queries, she had priority business to take care of: “I’m gonna go meet a heifer first.” Tapper’s amused, bemused reaction was priceless. “A heifer first?” After a few minutes of milking the spotlight (setting the mooed?) at the Iowa...

Do you think Sarah Palin will run for President?

Recently, David Axelrod announced that President Obama would start targeting would-be Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney via various types of media. The tenor of the announcement made it sound like they were doing the smart thing: going after the presumptive candidate instead of wasting time going after other candidates who might not have a chance of securing the nomination. ...

A persistent Don Lemon got a lot of ‘Sarah time’ today at the Iowa State fair ground, giving us what amounts to a great interview. The one thing that surprised me was that when she was asked about the ‘submission’ question last night from the debate, she said that she thought it was fair game and that Bachmann handled it very well. Directly after that she was asked if Todd told her not to run for president, would she submit. Her answer to that ended up being rather cute, noting that Todd would never order her to do anything like...

Sarah Palin, like Michele Bachmann, is aligned with many Republicans in condemning President Obama and other Democrats for having the gall to suggest that the wealthiest of Americans return to a tax structure that was in place before George W. Bush introduced his tax cuts for the rich.“The White House and many liberals in Congress are so addicted to that OPM, other people’s money, that it’s much easier to spend other people’s money than their own," Palin said on the Fox Business Network.

In an unscientific, but amazing on-the-ground poll, 36% of Chicagoans voted to ban Sarah Palin’s books from being sold in the Windy City. The guys from RebelPundit.com attended the Printer’s Row Literature Festival in June. The festival has city blocks roped off and thousands of titles on hand for display, discussion and sale. RebelPundit staff then set up a sandwich board device that offered people 11 choices of authors, and asked passersby which, if any, of these authors they would “ban” from Chicagoland bookstores. The authors included : Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, Ann Coulter, Andrew Breitbart, Ayn Rand, Michael Savage,...

Obviously we’ve seen our share of media lies, but the latest fabrications circulated take a big slice of the cake. The UK Daily Mail reports that I was “in tears” as Todd “rages over Hollywood stars ripping” me in the new film “The Undefeated.” Huh? Really? The beautiful town of Pella, Iowa, was flooded with an army of media covering the premiere of this film. You’d think someone would have caught those tears and rages on tape, right? Well, here’s a video of the remarks I made at the Pella Opera House right after viewing the film. The emotion clearly...

....I met a young man who is not the President of the Young Republicans Club at the University of California Irvine. He talked about how when the Democrats and Republicans throw events on campus they have big turnouts. I hope the best for Nick and look forward to speaking with him again. And finally, I interviewed Marc Harris who is a blogger from BigGovernment.com and the leader of his areas Tea Party as well. To break the ice as well as start a nationwide survey of a poll truly I asked a question of everyone that was submitted to me...

As Sarah Palin received criticism that persistently persistently mocked her own intellect, she released to the public about 24,000 of her emails during her time as Governor of the state of Alaska. A representative from AOL Weird News, an unconventional counterpart of AOL.com, handed over some samples of her writing to analysts in order to determine how effectively Palin wrote. If they expected the outcome to verify the media’s anti-Palin disposition, they were in for a big surprise. The conventional Flesch-Kincaid readability test indicated that Sarah Palin’s emails were actually written very well, at around an 8th grade level with...

The first thing I ever wrote about Sarah Palin dealt with the immediate reaction by some in the MSM to her unpolished way of speaking. I argued, successfully I might add, that in the end people would come to realize that a Palin-type (read: citizen politician), will sound more like your neighbor than an elitist clone from a Sunday morning news program, and that’s a good thing. This is not counter-intuitive, it is pure logic, and the Tea Party has finally figured it out. The established order does not produce idealists, it destroys them, keeping only those who are willing...
