Yes I am but right now I am a realist. What choices do I have? I am tired of Professional Politicians and I will not support any of them.

The definition of Conservative and Conservatism has been totally taken out of context and bastardized from it’s original philosophy and intent. I look more to the 18th and 19th Century definition and what the British Liberal Party of the 19th century defined things as.

We have people who claim to be Conservative but show no evidence of it. Trump, for all his flaws, I believe has evolved and is evolving. So I will take that and vote for him. I will not again hold my nose and vote for RINO’s, liars and Professional Politicians, and that includes Ted Cruz.

The Republican Party is as corrupt as the Democrats and both should be destroyed. The two party system has outlived it’s usefulness at this juncture.

pas·sion [ˈpaSHən] NOUN strong and barely controllable emotion: "a man of impetuous passion." ra·tion·al [ˈraSHənl, ˈraSHnəl] ADJECTIVE based on or in accordance with reason or logic: "I'm sure there's a perfectly rational explanation" synonyms: logical · reasoned · sensible · reasonable · cogent · intelligent. Both definitions are from the Oxford Online Dictionary. The very worst thing to come out of the next election would be another four years of a left wing presidency. If we continue on this circular firing squad we will guarantee that happening. The right is splitting into three factions all poorly formed. You have the old Eastern Rockefeller Republicans, the Goldwater-Reagan-Buckley Conservatives, and the Buchanan-Perot-Swartzennegger-Ventura-Trump radical moderates. Goldberg belongs to the same branch as Reagan.

Cruz is not trying to attack Trump he has hitched his wagon to Trump’s star. I see Trump taking Cruz along for the ride of his life if this wave can keep going. Imagine Ted Cruz as AG prosecuting all those Obama quislings we all want to see behind bars. He would be a superstar.

You mean Trumpcare which is going to be the best. I can do healthcare. I’ll do fabulous healthcare.I know a lot about it because I created so many jobs. And I’ve got the biggest heart. You know I’m very rich, much richer than the numbers show. I’ll do the best healthcare you ever saw. Obama couldn’t do healthcare. But I can.

Listen up. As a conservative, I could give a rats ass if Donald is a true blue conservative. Here's why. The GOPe has let us down time after time. Even the Tea Party in fighting has seen green-on-green fighting, so here's the truth; I like Trump because he is Trump. He pulls no punches, he's working it like a NOLA hooker to be everything to everyone and even though he is not perfect, he is better than what we have now. Since he's not a politician, he sure as hell can't do any worse than that entire lot of PoliTards waiting in line. The difference is Trump has run a lot of businesses, some good, some bad, and in my book, I'll take that ANY.G-D.DAMN.DAY over a career teet-sucker.

So bash all you wan't, work to debate me on whether or not he used to be a liberal (so did Dennis Miller), that he donated to DEMS (if a RAT can "evolve" why can't trump?) and since I want to see us back on track financially (didn't we lose EVERY F-ING SOCIAL battle we attempted?)

That's why, I think, a conservative can vote from Trump. Flame away all you want, but the truth is,I kinda hope it's Trump. And if we're lucky, he picks Cruz as a VP. If not, f*ck it, I'm still voting for him.

I used to think that my contempt for the media was a personal quirk, or a quirk of staunch conservatives. I am now seeing that it is actually very widespread.

What I see happening - in both parties - is a sudden refusal to accept “politics-as-usual” and wishy-washy rhetoric. Of course, for the Dems, this means to move further left (Sanders), but for the rest of the country, it might mean a VERY unlikely candidate like Trump, who is saying what many people have wanted to say for a long time, but were afraid to.

Trump’s attitude to the press reminds me of the Phil Hartman spoof of Frank Sinatra on SNL many years ago: Hartman/Sinatra: “I’ve got chunks of guys like you in my stool.”

RE: Jonah Goldberg is a homosexual.

Do you have a reliable source for that? A link or a credible article perhaps?

I think mostly — the gope can’t take a joke. would he really appoint his sister to the supreme court. maybe but i think he spoofs most of these people that ask these questions. i may be wrong and maybe he is serious.

Politicians are like diapers: they must be changed frequently.
and for the same reason.

I think he has core principles. i have bought his latest book and i think he states them clearly in the book. i’ll read it and come to my own decision. and Jonah Goldberg is a writer/talker. that is all he has ever done. his core principles are sentences.

In order to be conservative you must have something to conserve. Conservatism is dead and we are at an infection point for the country. Either we get rid of the left or we die as a country.
