If they allowed her to issue ‘gay marriage’ licenses without her signature like she wishes, would she then be breaking the law?

RE: If they allowed her to issue ‘gay marriage’ licenses without her signature like she wishes, would she then be breaking the law?

If the law currently states that her signature should be on it for it to be a valid marriage license, then any license issued without her signature is INVALID.

The fact is, there are several accomodations that can be made:

1) Judges in the county can sign the marriage license ( and one of them already signaled his willingness to do so ).

2) Couples can go to NEIGHBORING counties. Kentucky recognizes marriage licenses issued by ALL counties in the State.

3) Finally, Kentucky could pass a law accommodating people of faith so that folks like Kim Davis don’t have to fight her conscience.

The fact that gay couples in Davis’ county don’t bother to do this tells me that is NOT about their license.

It is about PERSECUTING ALL WHO REFUSE TO CONFORM.

It is not unlike the gay couple who INSIST that the Colorado Christian Baker bake their wedding cake when they could have gone to many other bake shop to have it done.
