Sure. Blame the messenger (Rolling Stone)
Fact is - Trump (once again) opened his fat mouth and made a snarky remark at a woman.
Now he’s walking it back.
I think Trump has learned a lesson here and will be more careful in the future as sound bites can bite you.
With Trump, you have to take the good snark with the bad snark.
on his private airplane to his associates.. ever heard anyone on FR talk about Horseface Kerry?
we know Carley likes to talk about her opponent’s looks the same way.. wow who really cares?
And while I know this is anecdotal, conservative women I know (two of them being Mrs. henkster my wife and Mrs. henkster my mom) are very much put off by it and are much less likely to vote for him because of it.
But I do believe that if push came to shove in a general election, they would vote for him over Clinton. Still, he needs to stop the comments that the media will construe as snarky, particularly about women. It’s making a poor visceral reaction.
Right on, dude! Rolling Stone is too groovy to lie.
Trump is right Quarter Horse Carly, is a munter.
If he said it about Hillary EVERYBODY here would be cheering.
I do believe that Trump needs to hire somebody to coach him a bit regarding his hyperbole, particularly regarding himself and the use of the word ‘great’. The way he goes on about his ‘great’ business and his ‘great’ people and his ‘great’ buildings is becoming a bit wearisome.
Last week, at his presser after he signed the loyalty pledge to his party, he introduced Setya Novanto, the Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, and whom he had only met just previous to his appearance, as a ‘great’ man. I have lived in Indonesia for 30+ years, and know the political scene rather well. I can assure you that Setya is nothing but a crooked Golkar party political hack, and in no way a ‘great’ man, nor even a good man.
