Even if Hillary did nothing else wrong (ha!), deleting those emails was a felony.

It was my understanding she was never assigned a .gov email account at State, much less used it.
Having Justice under the executive made sense when we were talking about enforcement of federal laws against the people. However, when investigating the executive, or any agency of the federal bureaucracy, there needs to be a separate counsel and investigative arm not answerable to the executive, but to the American people.
That job was supposed to be Congress through its impeachment power. But back then, it never occurred to Madison, Hamilton or Jefferson that criminal investigation and prosecution, or the lack thereof, would be entirely political. I’ll re-read the Federalist Papers for this, but I don’t think it came up.
The state department lawyers are basically saying hillary is free to have a PERSONAL email account and delete her PERSONAL emails. This was not being used as a personal email account. This just confirms the state department is as corrupt as the rest of government cabal.

Except it’s never permissible to use private or unsecured email accounts or systems to transact official government business. Since she did, we can’t definitively prove that sensitive official emails weren’t deleted.
This is a case where the official is giving an opinion of a narrow hypothetical.

My guess is that Biden deided not to run. Otherwise the obama admin would dump on her.
