Middle school parents in Tennessee are up in arms on learning that their children were instructed to recite and write, “Allah is the only god,” as part of a world history project.
In the Maury County School District, students were assigned a Five Pillars of Islam project that included the translation of the pillar of “Shahada” as being, “There is no god but Allah; Muhammad is his prophet.”
Joy Ellis, the mother of a seventh-grader at Spring Hill Middle School, said that Christian children should not be instructed to write the Shahada.
“This is a seventh grade state standard, and will be on the TCAP,” Ellis said. “I didn’t have a problem with the history of Islam being taught, but to go so far as to make my child write the Shahada, is unacceptable.”
Another mother of a seventh-grade girl, Brandee Porterfield, complained to officials at Spring Hill Middle School because of its overemphasis on Islam to the exclusion of Christianity and Judaism.
Porterfield said she has no objections to her daughter learning details of the Islamic religion, but she objects to the fact that the history unit didn’t devote similar time to Christianity or Judaism.
“It really did bother me that they skipped the whole chapter on the rise of Christianity and they spent three weeks just studying Islam,” she said.
Porterfield and other parents were also concerned with the school’s decision to have children write and recite the Islamic creed.

Allah is NOT the God of Israel or of Christianity. It is a pagan god.
Their god says go rape in it’s name. Not anything we should treat as anything other than cancer in this country.

Why aren’t these parents picketing and staging rallies over this rather than just saying something to the media? They need to take action.
The only way that Americans kids should be taught this is in the context of a “Know Thy Enemy” type course!

Exactly. These parents need to grow a pair and stop whining - do something about it!
If your 7th grade child needs to learn about Christianity in public school, then you have failed as a Christian parent.
All you should need to tell them is that allah is NOT the only god, much less the only God, and they should never say that. Send them to school armed with Matthew 12:31 and Luke 12:10 and have them recite that instead of the “shitheada”.
They should already know who God is, who Jesus Christ is, and they should repeatedly ask the teacher “what does islam teach about Jesus Christ being God—because he is?”
If this is true, and I do not doubt that it is, then there needs to be a systematic purge of every single teacher and administrator in that school system who played any part in designing that curriculum.
You need to have media backup before you take on school authorities, or they’ll be sure to make your childrens’ lives an absolute living hell.

The teacher’s unions have been thoroughly infiltrated with jihadists. GET YOUR KIDS OUT OF PUBLIC SCHOOL NOW. It’s one big thing we can do to slow down the rapid islamification of America.

The problem with that statement is that where islam is concerned, government, culture and economics cannot be separated from theology. In an islamic society, theology IS the government, the culture and the economy.
Only until the school administrators are indicted, tried, convicted and sentenced for giving aid and comfort ot the enemy. Then their heads can experience a short drop and quick stop.
I think we all had enough of a lesson on Islam 9/11/01.
Parents in that district need to find out who is behind this, make it stop ASAP, and make damn sure it doesn’t happen again.
Public schooling is a form of child abuse, plain and simple.
If you can’t afford private schools you can’t afford to have kids.
